Desde la industria alimentaria hasta la log\u00edstica, miles de personas trabajadoras desarrollan sus tareas en espacios donde las temperaturas pueden descender a niveles extremos. Esta exposici\u00f3n continuada puede derivar en estr\u00e9s t\u00e9rmico por fr\u00edo, accidentes y problemas de salud graves. Por ello, la prevenci\u00f3n de riesgos en c\u00e1maras frigor\u00edficas no es solo una obligaci\u00f3n legal, sino una medida esencial de seguridad laboral y salud ocupacional.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\">La reciente sanci\u00f3n de 900.000 euros a una empresa tras dejar a una empleada atrapada durante dos horas en un congelador ha puesto de relieve la importancia de cumplir escrupulosamente con la normativa en materia de seguridad en c\u00e1maras frigor\u00edficas. El Real Decreto 486\/1997 establece las condiciones m\u00ednimas de seguridad y salud en los lugares de trabajo, incluyendo las relativas a la temperatura, accesibilidad, se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n y medios de socorro. Asimismo, la evaluaci\u00f3n del estr\u00e9s t\u00e9rmico por fr\u00edo debe realizarse seg\u00fan los criterios de la norma UNE-EN ISO 11079:2009 y la NTP 1036 del INSST, actualizadas y vigentes.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size:16pt\"><span><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight:normal\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\"><span style=\"color:#c00000\">Prevenci\u00f3n de riesgos en ambientes frigor\u00edficos<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\">La exposici\u00f3n a bajas temperaturas en el entorno laboral puede causar desde molestias leves hasta lesiones por congelaci\u00f3n e hipotermia, afectando tambi\u00e9n la capacidad f\u00edsica, cognitiva y psicomotriz de la persona. Adem\u00e1s, el fr\u00edo extremo puede agravar patolog\u00edas previas, como trastornos respiratorios o cardiovasculares NTP 1036. En c\u00e1maras frigor\u00edficas, estos riesgos se amplifican por el aislamiento del espacio y la posibilidad real de quedar atrapado si los mecanismos de seguridad fallan.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\">Los factores de riesgo m\u00e1s frecuentes en c\u00e1maras de fr\u00edo incluyen la falta de ropa adecuada, la inmovilidad prolongada, el contacto con superficies heladas y la ventilaci\u00f3n inadecuada. Tambi\u00e9n son cr\u00edticas las situaciones de trabajo en solitario, especialmente si no se dispone de dispositivos de alarma o apertura desde el interior.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size:16pt\"><span><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight:normal\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\"><span style=\"color:#c00000\">Medidas preventivas: seguridad t\u00e9rmica y style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\">Debe contar con sistemas de apertura desde el interior en todas las Deber\u00e1 estar certificada conforme a EN 342 (<a href=\"http:\/\/cat.ii\"><span style=\"color:#1155cc\">Cat.II<\/span><\/a> para temperaturas entre -5\u00baC y -50\u00baC)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\">La ropa debe mantenerse seca, ya que la humedad reduce su capacidad aislante.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n\t\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\">Formaci\u00f3n e informaci\u00f3n:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\">Toda persona trabajadora debe conocer los riesgos asociados al fr\u00edo, los procedimientos de emergencia y el funcionamiento de los sistemas de seguridad instalados en la c\u00e1mara NTP 103.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size:16pt\"><span><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight:normal\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\"><span style=\"color:#c00000\">Cumplimiento normativo: una obligaci\u00f3n legal<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\">La normativa espa\u00f1ola obliga a evaluar y controlar los riesgos derivados del fr\u00edo en los lugares de trabajo, conforme al <strong>Real Decreto 486\/1997<\/strong> y la Ley de Prevenci\u00f3n de Riesgos Laborales (Ley 31\/1995, no derogada). El incumplimiento de estas obligaciones puede derivar en graves consecuencias legales y econ\u00f3micas, como ha demostrado el caso reciente de la trabajadora encerrada en el congelador.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\">El art\u00edculo 14 de la Ley de PRL establece el derecho de todas las personas trabajadoras a una protecci\u00f3n eficaz en materia de seguridad y salud, lo que incluye medidas espec\u00edficas ante condiciones t\u00e9rmicas adversas.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size:16pt\"><span><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight:normal\"><strong><span style=\"font-size:14.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\"><span style=\"color:#c00000\">La mirada de OTP: anticiparse al fr\u00edo es prevenir con responsabilidad<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:11pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Calibri&quot;,sans-serif\">Trabajar en c\u00e1maras frigor\u00edficas no deber\u00eda implicar jugarse la salud o la vida.
